About Us

Information about the Columbus Realtors Association.

Our Mission Statement

IMPORTANT: ColumbusRealtors.net is not affiliated with NAR or Columbus REALTORS. We are the largest association in Columbus for Real Estate Agents that aim to provide value for active agents and Realtors in order to gain new listings, differentiate themselves, and ultimately increase revenue as real estate professionals.

11/9/2023: As we predicted, NAR was found GUILTY of conspiracy and ordered to pay over 1 Billion Dollars. NAR exists for it’s own financial gain and does not help Real Estate Agents in any capacity. In fact, NAR only takes money in the form of membership dues without providing any substantive value.

In the dynamic world of real estate, Columbus Real Estate Agents stand as a beacon of integrity and innovation, dedicating themselves to empowering real estate professionals through a culture of foresight, service, and uncompromising standards. We don’t just support the journey; we elevate the entire experience for both real estate agents and those they serve.

Our Beliefs:

Real Estate Agents are more than agents; they are the architects of dreams, building foundations for lives within the community.

The distinction of a Real Estate Agent emerges from an unwavering commitment to ethical practices and professionalism, setting the gold standard in the industry.

The quest for knowledge never ceases; continuous personal and professional development is fundamental to shaping the future of real estate.

We thrive through our contribution to the community’s heartbeat, recognizing our service’s societal impact extends beyond business transactions.

Upholding the interests of Real Estate Agents is synonymous with championing consumer confidence and satisfaction.

Every individual’s right to property is sacred, and our steadfast advocacy reflects this principle.

Representation matters, and our organization mirrors the diverse tapestry of the communities we are privileged to serve.

Our Goals:

Advocacy with Insight: Be the resonant voice in central Ohio’s corridors of power, influencing policies to nurture our members’ success and fortify private property rights.

Ethical Elevation: Cultivate an environment where members transcend standard practice, embodying the highest ethical codes and professional excellence.

Diversity and Inclusion: Celebrate and integrate cultural diversity, acknowledging its power to enrich our professional realm and the communities we advocate for.

Mastery in Practice: Forge pathways for members to master their craft, ensuring adeptness, proficiency, and triumph in their professional pursuits.

Community Engagement: Reinforce the intrinsic role of Real Estate Agents within the community tapestry, highlighting their contributions and enhancing societal well-being.

Synergistic Collaboration: Champion seamless cooperation across central Ohio, anchored by an accurate, unified listing database, enhancing transactional efficiency and mutual success.

Organizational Awareness: Continuously illuminate the integral role of Columbus Real Estate Agents and the manifold benefits we offer, deepening member association and allegiance.

Leadership Evolution: Nurture the seeds of leadership, providing fertile ground for growth, inspiration, and formidable governance.

Financial Stewardship: Uphold rigorous financial health and sustainability standards, ensuring organizational resilience and capability to realize our mission and vision.

Through these tenets, we don’t just witness the landscape of real estate; we transform it, ensuring that every cornerstone laid by a Real Estate Agent is a testament to excellence, integrity, and a brighter future for all.

Director Nominating Committee Overview

The journey to selecting qualified candidates for the role of Director is an inclusive and meticulously organized process driven by the Nominating Committee’s dedicated efforts. This committee, a blend of experience and perspectives, is instrumental in shaping the leadership’s future, ensuring that every slate is representative of our community’s ideals and values.

Committee Composition: The Nominating Committee’s unique structure encompasses various members from our real estate agent community, including:

  • Outgoing Real Estate Agent Directors, contributing insights from their valuable tenure.
  • A distinguished past president, appointed directly by the acting President, offering wisdom from their extensive experience.
  • Four committed Real Estate Agent members, chosen by their peers for their impartiality and vision. These individuals are neither serving Directors nor have they occupied the president’s role in the past. Their selection occurs at the Annual Business Meeting held on 10/12/23.

Participation Protocol: Ambitious members who are eager to contribute to this pivotal process but cannot attend the Annual Business Meeting are encouraged to proactively communicate their interest to Kathy Elliott ahead of time. It is imperative to note that to preserve the committee’s objectivity, its members are ineligible to appear as candidates on the upcoming slate.

Commitment Requirements: Serving on the Nominating Committee requires attendance at two critical meetings to ensure a fair and democratic selection process:

  • October 16, 2023 (9 AM): Deliberation and nomination of potential candidates.
  • November 7, 2023 (1 PM): Finalization and validation of the electoral process.
